VOTIVA FAQS

Votiva is a non-invasive, non-surgical technology that helps restore your body’s organic response to sexual stimulation so that you can self-lubricate during sexual activity. Votiva is an advanced form of treatment that utilizes heat and radiofrequency (RF) technology to provide relief from painful sex, especially for women after having a recent vaginal delivery. We perform Votiva treatments in-office, no anesthesia required.

Votiva is a procedure based on FDA-cleared technology. Votiva with FormaV is a therapeutic device for the treatment of sexual dysfunction or as an adjunct to Kegel exercises (tightening of the muscles of the pelvic floor to increase muscle tone). For many women, Votiva is an ideal non-surgical option for incontinence.

Votiva with Morpheus8 is a fractional treatment promoting tissue remodeling. It can provide a minimally invasive procedure to restore the function and appearance of the vulva by offering a non-excisional alternative to a labiaplasty.

Votiva uses two complementary technologies to address your specific health and wellness concerns. Votiva with the FormaV handpiece gently and uniformly heats the treated tissue, reducing pain and tightening the pelvic floor muscles. Votiva with the Morpheus8 handpiece is a fractional treatment that remodels tissue and delivers internal energy for a minimally invasive procedure option.

Your NCMA Women’s OB/GYN Center physician will consult with you regarding your concerns and expectations, and on which technologies may suit you best. We will be happy to develop a tailored treatment plan for your individual needs.
